How to dry the leaves of purple calyx flower

How to dry the leaves of purple calyx flower

1. The temperature is not suitable

Generally, the most suitable temperature for the growth of purple-calyx thrush is between 18 and 30 degrees. It is very afraid of freezing, so the temperature needs to be kept above 10 degrees during the winter and must not be lower than 10 degrees, otherwise, it will easily cause dry leaves. In addition, it is not good for the temperature to drop below 4 degrees in winter, as it will enter a dormant state. If it is close to zero degrees, it will freeze to death. So temperature also affects it.

2. Poor drainage

If you water too much without timely drainage, or if the normal drainage is not smooth, it can easily cause the plant's leaves to dry out. When faced with this situation, you should look at the soil. There may be a problem with the air permeability of the soil, which needs to be resolved. If the drainage is good, then there will be no dry leaves anymore.

3. Insufficient lighting

It generally prefers places with more sunlight and can tolerate a little shade, but if you don't give it enough sunlight for a long time, it is not good. Generally, we give it full sun or half sun, and it can grow normally, but you can't let it stay in a hidden place for a long time, which is also very bad for its growth.

4. No timely ventilation

Especially in summer, the air circulation should be strengthened so that its own temperature can be dissipated. Otherwise, if the ventilation is not smooth, the leaves will dry out. Therefore, ventilation should be timely. This way there will naturally be fewer dry leaves.

5. No proper shade

Although it likes light, it is afraid of strong light, so it needs to be placed in a semi-shaded place for maintenance, or given appropriate shade. Especially in the summer, you must not let the strong sunlight shine directly on it. Although it allows it to fully enjoy the sunshine, it is easy to get sunburned, so it must be shaded to a certain extent.
