Why doesn't the quince bloom?

Insufficient light

One of the important reasons why the gentian does not bloom is insufficient light.

When growing the Croton tiglium, it needs to be given sufficient light so that it can grow healthily and is also beneficial for its flowering. However, if the Quisqualis creeper is placed in a hidden place for a long time and does not receive sufficient light, the Quisqualis creeper plant will grow too tall and will not bloom.

Improper fertilization

Another important factor that causes the sycamore to not bloom is improper fertilization. This mainly means that insufficient fertilization results in the lack of sufficient nutrients for the Quisqualis during its growth, and its own nutrients are not enough to support flowering, so the benefits and flowering will be affected. In addition, when fertilizing, too much nitrogen fertilizer was used, causing the branches and leaves of the Croton to be lush but the flowers to bloom poorly.

Lack of pruning

Another reason is that the quinceanera lacks pruning. If it is not pruned for a long time, its growth will become chaotic and unsightly. Messy branches will also affect ventilation and light transmission, compete for nutrients for flowering, and thus cause the plant to not bloom.

How to grow Quisqualis so that it blooms more

Adequate lighting

If you want the Croton to bloom well, such maintenance is very important. The first thing is to provide sufficient light, which is conducive to the growth of flowers.

Reasonable fertilization

When applying fertilizer, there are two main points to grasp: one is base fertilizer, and the other is top dressing. When planting the Quisqualis, sufficient base fertilizer should be applied. After that, in spring and summer, top dressing should be applied. The fertilizer should not be too concentrated, just enough to ensure sufficient nutrients for flowering.

prune

If you prune the Croton regularly, it will not only make the plant shape beautiful, but also facilitate ventilation and light transmission. If you prune it in winter, it will help the Croton to bloom next year.
