1. Anthrax

Symptoms: This is one of the main diseases of camellia. Dark green spots will appear at first, and gradually expand into large spots. In severe cases, the entire leaf will be damaged, leading to leaf fall.

2. Red leaf spot

Symptoms: This disease is also very common. It is caused by fungal infection and mostly occurs on young leaves. It starts as small light brown spots, which then gradually spread and turn into brown. Eventually, it will cause the leaves to scorch and fall off.

3. Algal spot disease

Symptoms: This disease is caused by a parasitic rust algae, and spots will appear on both sides of the leaves, mainly concentrated on the leaf surface. At first, small gray-green dots appeared on the leaf surface, and then expanded in large numbers, forming nearly circular or irregular spots. In the later stage, the color of the lesions changes from gray-green to dark brown.
