Pest and disease control for Queen Ruyi

Pest and disease control for Queen Ruyi

Diseases

There is a common disease called "viral disease" that can endanger the growth of Queen Ruyi. When the disease occurs, some irregular spots will appear on the leaves of the plant, which are generally yellow. At the same time, the leaves may become deformed, curled or wrinkled, and in severe cases may even become deformed. If this continues, the entire plant will become stunted and eventually die.

To prevent and control this disease, we can first spray some pesticides, such as 3,000 times diluted 5% high-efficiency cypermethrin, which is more effective against this disease. In addition, we can also apply more flower fertilizers containing more K and P elements to increase its ability to resist diseases.

In addition, you also need to pay attention to "root rot". The disease is more common from May to October. The cause of the disease is that there is too much water in the soil during the rainy season, which causes the roots to rot, and then the leaves of the plant will also wither and spread quickly. To deal with this disease, we must first get rid of the diseased plants. In addition, we can spray the corresponding medicine. Another thing is to pay attention to timely drainage during the rainy season in summer.

Pests

A relatively common pest is the "red hawk moth". Their larvae are very harmful to this plant. They will chew through the leaves of the plant, causing holes. Pests occur more frequently in July and August. To deal with this kind of insect, we can spray some 800 times stronger dichlorodiphenyltrichloroethane to kill the larvae of the pest. It has been proven to be very effective.
