If you kill scale insects like this, they will die immediately!

A few days ago, Huahua saw a flower lover who placed a few pots of newly planted succulents on the balcony, and found three fat and big scale insects. Guess what happened? It turned out that a scale insect had fallen from upstairs!

1. Crushing to death with bare hands or tweezers

If there are not too many scale insects in your home, you can find a toothpick, tweezers or a pointed needle and just poke them to death. Although scale insects look hard, they can actually be killed with just one poke.

2. Rinse with running water

If some flower lovers feel disgusted and don't want to do it, they can put the succulents under running water, turn on the faucet directly, rinse them carefully on both sides, use the running water to wash away the scale insects, or they can directly use a pressure spray bottle with a long pole, the effect is good.

3. Kill with alcohol, soapy water, etc.

Flower lovers who have alcohol at home can choose to use 75% alcohol, dip a cotton swab in the alcohol directly, and gently wipe the locations of scale insects on the leaves of succulents. After repeating this several times, the scale insects can be killed!

4. Mosquito-repellent incense kills

If you find that succulents have attracted scale insects, you can put the succulents in a larger airtight container, put a lit mosquito coil inside, seal them together, wait for a while after the mosquito coil is burned out, then take out the succulents, and the scale insects will basically be killed!

5. Spraying

The last method Huahua introduced is to spray the medicine directly, such as the commonly used Aphidicide or Aphidicide. You can directly mix it according to the concentration and spray it about once a week, and the scale insects can be killed quickly! Of course, you can also try Huahua’s insecticide, which is also very effective!

The snails were driven away like this and they never dared to come again!

Some flower lovers think snails are quite cute, but if it gnaws on the leaves of succulents, then you will not think it is cute. So if you come across a snail, drive it away immediately!

1. Sprinkle some egg shells in the basin

Don’t throw away the leftover egg shells at home. Wash the egg shells with clean water and dry them in the sun, or heat them in the microwave for a few minutes to allow the egg shells to dehydrate quickly and then break them into pieces.

Sprinkle the eggshell pieces on the surface of the succulent pot, or directly on the edge of the pot. The edges of the crushed eggshells have sharp edges. When the snail passes through the eggshells, the sharp edges will scratch the snail's abdomen, and it will never be able to climb into the flowerpot again!

2. Sprinkle some salt on the edge of the basin

If you can't get egg shells at home right away, you can go to the kitchen and pinch a handful of salt and sprinkle it around the outside of the succulent pot. Salt can dehydrate protein. If a snail crawls over the salt, it may cause physical harm. This can prevent the snail from gnawing on the leaves of succulents!

Xiao Heifei killed them all like this!

If we were to say what the most annoying thing is throughout the year, it would definitely be the black fly! The little black flies are omnipresent, and they can't be killed no matter how hard you try. It's really infuriating!

1. Yellow sticky insect board

Black flies particularly like the color yellow. If you want to kill them, you can buy a yellow sticky insect board and place it directly next to the succulent flower pot. After 1-2 hours, you can see a lot of black flies on the sticky insect board!

2. Washing powder water

Mix the laundry detergent with water. Basically, a standard 550ml mineral water bottle, just add a pinch of laundry detergent. After shaking evenly, put it in a spray bottle and spray it directly on the places where there are small black flies. As long as the detergent water gets on the wings of the little black fly, it basically can't fly! Moreover, the concentration of laundry detergent water is lower and will not harm succulents.

3. Spread sand on the basin surface

It is largely impossible to completely kill the black flies because there are insect eggs in the soil. So at this time, we can spread a layer of fine sand on the surface of the pot, so that the little black flies cannot lay eggs in the soil!

Kill ants like this and they will never appear again!

Recently, many flower lovers have told Huahua that ants have appeared in their homes. Killing one is useless, and the entire nest must be killed. What should they do? Why not try soaking tobacco in water?

Collect the cigarette butts left over from smoking at home, about 5-7 are enough, soak them in clean water for more than 1 day, take out the cigarette butts the next day, and what remains is tobacco water. Pour the tobacco water directly into the flowerpot, and it will basically kill the ants!
