The red blight of juniper mainly harms the young plants and leaves of juniper, but the old leaves will also suffer certain damage. In the early stage of the red blight, light yellow or yellow-brown spots will appear on the leaves, and some leaves will appear green or light yellow-green, and will turn brown-red in the later stage. There are four symptoms of this red blight: leaf tip dieback type, leaf base dieback type, segmental spot dieback type and whole needle dieback type.

Prevention and treatment methods

The main way to prevent and control juniper diseases is to spray pesticides. The appropriate time to spray pesticides is from June to early July each year. It is best to use continuous spraying to help control the disease.

Pests of juniper

Juniper is a plant with strong adaptability, so it suffers less damage. Therefore, there are basically no insect pests for juniper. Therefore, for flower lovers, planting juniper is a better choice.
