Reasons for the yellowing of potted banyan leaves

Reasons for the yellowing of potted banyan leaves

1. Insufficient light

It loves sunlight very much and is suitable for growing and cultivating in places with sufficient light. If it does not see sunlight for a long time, chlorophyll cannot function and nutrients cannot be synthesized normally. The leaves of the banyan tree will turn yellow and become less green. It needs to be given sunlight in time and moved to a sunny place to promote the synthesis of nutrients, so that the leaves will slowly turn green by themselves.

2. Improper watering

Banyan trees cannot tolerate waterlogging, and their root system cannot absorb water normally, causing a large amount of water to accumulate in the potting soil. The problem of root rot will become more obvious, resulting in yellowing leaves. If no water is applied for a period of time, the entire plant will find it difficult to absorb water normally, and some of the leaves will turn yellow and fall off.

3. Temperature discomfort

If the temperature is too high, a large amount of evaporation will occur on the leaves, causing them to turn yellow due to lack of water. If the temperature is low and the plant is damaged by frost, the leaves will turn yellow and fall off in large numbers. It is best to adjust the temperature within an appropriate range. If the temperature is too high, you can spray water to supplement it. If the temperature is too low, move it to a sunny place.

4. Improper Nutrition

If there is a lack of fertilizer, the plants will find it difficult to grow normally and will suffer from nutrient deficiencies. Too much fertilizer will burn the roots and make it difficult to ensure normal growth.
