Lithops are propagated by cuttings on capsule boards, and roots are popping out!If the Lithops at home have not taken root, you can try to use the capsule board method to make them take root. Steps: 1. First prepare a capsule plate, and then use a sharp knife to poke a small hole in each capsule plate. The size of the hole should ensure that the lower part of the Lithops can be inserted. 2. Prepare a bowl of clean water, stuff the Lithops into the capsule plate, and then place it directly on the water surface. The capsule board is relatively light and generally does not sink. 3. Generally, it only takes 5-7 days for the water-planted Lithops to sprout long and slender roots! 4. If the lithops have wilted, you can also use this method to replenish water. The wilted Lithops soon became plump! 5. After rooting or watering is completed, transplant the Lithops into the soil and continue to maintain it. This method is generally used to root or deal with wilted lithops. If your lithops are relatively healthy, don't do this! Jasmine is propagated by cuttings of capsule boards, and large white roots will emerge in 7 days!In addition to helping succulents take root, capsule boards can actually be used for most flowers in the home to take cuttings. Today, I’ll use jasmine as an example. Steps: 1. Prune the branches that need to be cut, and try to have 1-2 pairs of leaves on each branch, so that it is easier to survive, and then dry the wound. 2. Poke holes in the capsule board and pass the trimmed jasmine branches through the capsule board. 3. Find a cup, add some water into the cup, and then place the capsule board with the jasmine branches directly on the water surface so that the lower end of the jasmine branches can be immersed in the water. 4. Jasmine grown in water is easier to take root. Using this method to propagate jasmine cuttings, it basically only takes 5-7 days before you can see tiny white roots emerging from the jasmine! 5. After rooting, prepare loose and breathable soil, transplant the jasmine into a pot, place it in a cool and ventilated place for 1 week, and then transplant it to the south balcony to bask in the sun! Use foam board to propagate Kalanchoe, and it will take root quickly! The Kalanchoe plants in many flower lovers' homes are in bloom, of course, some flower lovers' homes have already withered. For the withered Kalanchoe plants, we can just find a pair of scissors and cut off the withered flowers. Steps: 1. First, trim the branches slightly, and try to keep 1-2 leaves on each branch. 2. Find a large foam board, and then use chopsticks or a thin wooden stick to poke holes in the foam board. The holes should be 1-2 cm apart. 3. Place the entire foam board on the water surface and let the lower part of the Kalanchoe branches touch the water surface. It will basically take root in 2 weeks! 4. After taking root, transplant the Kalanchoe into a flowerpot. After a while, move it to the sun to dry. In less than a month, it will become a new pot of Kalanchoe! |
