How to grow pineapple heads? How long does it take to grow pineapples?

1. How to grow pineapple heads

1. Process the pineapple head: Use a clean knife to cut the pineapple head from the pineapple. The cut should be flat. Remove some leaves at the bottom of the pineapple head and place it in a cool and ventilated place to dry the cut of the pineapple head.

2. Hydroponic rooting: After the cut of the pineapple head has dried, prepare a watertight bottle, pour clean water into the bottle, or fill it with sea babies, pour half of it with clean water, insert the processed pineapple head into the water, and change the clean water every two days.

3. Transplant into the soil: After the pineapple head takes root and the root system grows to more than 2 cm, prepare moist soil, transplant the pineapple head into the potting soil, place it in a place with scattered light and good ventilation to wait for it to adapt to the pot, and keep the potting soil slightly moist until the pineapple head successfully adapts to the pot.

4. Maintenance after planting: After the pineapple head is successfully potted, move the pot to a well-lit place and expose it to more sunlight. Weigh the weight of the soil in the pot. When it feels noticeably lighter, water it thoroughly. Ensure that the maintenance temperature is not lower than 10℃ throughout the year. It will produce big pineapples in 2-3 years.
