What medicine should I use when the leaves of green radish turn yellow?

1. What medicine to put

The yellowing of green radish leaves is a common phenomenon and does not necessarily require the use of drugs to prevent and control it. If it is due to poor maintenance, water and fertilizer management needs to be strengthened to provide a more suitable growth environment. If it is caused by diseases and pests, you need to prescribe the right medicine according to the symptoms and pests.

2. Solution

1. Water in moderation: Insufficient or excessive watering will cause the leaves to turn yellow. At normal times, you must strictly control water and keep the soil in the pot moist, but not too humid, and certainly not with stagnant water. Otherwise, bacteria will breed and cause damage to the roots. If it is too dry, in addition to watering, you can also spray water on the leaves and the ground to increase the humidity.

2. Control the amount of fertilizer: Insufficient fertilization will cause the green radish to lack nutrients, while excessive fertilization will burn the roots and cause the leaves to turn yellow. When applying fertilizer normally, you can mix beer and water in a 1:1 ratio to make liquid fertilizer and spray it on the stems and leaves. If the fertilizer is too concentrated, you need to remove the roots, cut off the rotten parts, and then replant with new soil.

3. Increase the temperature: The temperature is too low in winter, which can easily cause frostbite on the green radish, causing the leaves to turn yellow. Plants that have been frostbitten should be moved to a warm place in time, with the temperature above 10℃. If the plant is frozen for a long time and the roots are damaged, there is no possibility of rescue.

4. Treat diseases and pests: When the green radish is infected with leaf spot disease and anthracnose, the leaves will easily turn yellow. At this time, you should first pick off the yellow leaves, and then use mancozeb or carbendazim for prevention and control. Generally, it will recover after spraying a few times.
