What to do if the leaves of the dragon blood tree dry up

What to do if the leaves of the dragon blood tree dry up

1. Poor or excessive ventilation

Most plants need a well-ventilated environment to grow healthily. If they are kept in a closed environment for a long time, not only will the leaves dry up, but other diseases and pests will also occur. However, excessive ventilation will make the environment too dry, which is not good for the health of plants.

Solution: The dragon blood tree in the editor's home was previously placed in the dining room. The ventilation in the dining room was not good, causing its leaves to dry and lifeless. It was moved to the balcony last week, and the phenomenon of leaves drying up stopped. However, this plant is also not suitable for growing in too dry places. Friends can spray water on the ground near the plant to alleviate the overly dry environment.

2. The temperature is too low

When the temperature is too low, the leaves of this plant will also dry up.

Solution: Do not move the plant directly to a warm place at this time. Warm it up slowly and water it in small amounts to keep the soil in a slightly dry state as much as possible.

3. Overwatering

Excessive watering will cause the soil in the pot to remain too moist for a long time, which can easily cause its leaves to dry out.

Solution: If the pot has good air permeability and the soil has good drainage, you can place the plant in the sun and stop watering. If the drainage of the potting soil and the air permeability of the pot are not good, then you should consider changing the soil. Otherwise, if the roots are kept in moist soil for a long time, the leaves drying up is a small matter, but affecting the overall health of the plant is a big deal.

4. Normal metabolism

In addition to the above three situations, the leaves of the plant may dry up due to the plant's metabolism. There is no need to worry too much about this, just clean up the fallen leaves in time.
