Why are the leaves of Anthurium turning yellow and dry?

1. Insufficient sunlight

Reason: If you place anthurium under the scorching sun, the moisture in the branches and leaves will evaporate quickly. If it is exposed to strong sunlight for a long time, it will turn yellow, burnt and dry.

Treatment method: Move the Anthurium potted plant to a semi-shaded place in time, provide appropriate shade and prevent exposure to the sun. And spray a small amount of water to replenish the necessary moisture for its leaves.

2. Lack of water

Reason: If you water it too infrequently and in small amounts during maintenance, the tips of its leaves will easily turn yellow and dry out. If the humidity is insufficient, the plant will also show poor performance and the edges of the leaves will become knotty and curled.

Treatment method: Gradually water it more so that there is sufficient water in the pot, and sprinkle some water on it appropriately to increase the humidity of the breeding environment.

3. Pest Infestation

Reason: If the plant is attacked by insect pests, the water and nutrients in the leaves will be absorbed by the insects, causing yellowing, burnt edges and dryness.

Treatment method: Use appropriate pesticides for prevention and control as soon as possible, and carry out disinfection. Remove the leaves that show poor performance to avoid further infection.
