Can the yellowing leaves of the Chinese evergreen bean bean be saved?

Improper watering

Chinese evergreen likes a humid environment, but it does not mean it needs more water. If Chinese evergreen is watered too much, the roots and stems will be soaked in water for a long time, and the nutrients of the plant cannot be transported upward, causing the leaves to turn yellow. If there is insufficient watering, the plant will suffer from physiological water shortage and the leaves will turn yellow and curl.

Therefore, during the maintenance period, it is necessary to ensure that the soil of the plant is moist but not waterlogged, and spray appropriately 2 to 3 times a day to increase the indoor humidity.

Temperature is too high

In fact, the main reason why the leaves of evergreen turn black, soft, and yellow is the high temperature. People sweat when it is hot and stuffy, and the plant can only rely on its own reaction to tell its owner. So be sure to control the temperature and try not to exceed 38℃.

Improper fertilization

Chinese evergreen requires a lot of fertilizer and water. When applying fertilizer, be careful to avoid the root system to prevent the fertilizer from burning the roots, causing root rot and yellow leaves. But don't apply fertilizer blindly. It should be done in a gradual cycle and with appropriate amounts of fertilizer and water. The best way to fertilize is to apply fertilizer in the evening and water the next morning. This can achieve the best fertilizer effect and effectively avoid fertilizer damage.

Pest and disease damage

Black spot gray mold is caused by high humidity and lack of ventilation in the environment. Keep an eye on them often. If you find insects eating leaves, lure them out with beer, scald them with boiling water, or kill them with salt. If the plant is attacked by ring spot disease, the plant will be dwarfed and twisted. At this time, you can spray an appropriate amount of Bordeaux liquid. In short, we must prevent diseases and pests from harming plants, and detect and treat them early.
