What to do if the leaves of the peace lily have spots

1. Getting sick

In fact, it can get sick due to environmental reasons, and this disease happens to cause spots on the leaves. Generally, this kind of environment occurs when the temperature is relatively high and the light is not very good. In short, as long as it does not meet its suitable growth environment, there will always be a disease that occurs quietly. It usually occurs on newly grown leaves. At first, the spots are yellow-brown and round in shape. Then they gradually turn black and appear in grains. The color of the leaves behind the spots is purple. If we find such symptoms, we must pick it off quickly and burn it after picking it off. After that, we will use carbendazim powder to spray it on it. The interval between each operation is ten days, and each operation should be sprayed three or four times in a row. If there are fewer plants of this type at home, we can use Daknin cream so that the spots will not grow bigger. After using these things, our lighting needs to return to normal, and watering and ventilation also need to be restored to their appropriate states.

2. Root

If you don't follow the standards when applying fertilizer, it may cause the roots to rot, which may then lead to spotting. So what we need to do is cut off the rotten parts, and then use fresh soil to transplant the plant again. In addition, we need to use fine sand on the cut part so that new roots can grow. After that, we need to cut off some diseased leaves, and when providing water, do not water it directly, but spray it. If you want to place it outdoors, you have to wait until the temperature is above 15 degrees Celsius. During this period, you cannot fertilize it at will. We must wait until new leaves grow out before doing this.
