What to do if the leaves of Anthurium droop

What to do if the leaves of Anthurium droop

1. Causes of leaf drooping:

1. The temperature is higher than 35℃, or lower than 10℃. Too high or too low temperature will cause damage to Anthurium.

2. The sunlight shining on the leaves of Anthurium is too strong, and the light is too intense, causing the leaves to change color or be burned, or even scorched.

3. The salt content of the water is too high and the watering frequency is inappropriate. Watering too infrequently during the hot summer months or too frequently during the cold winter months.

4. The air humidity is too low. If the air humidity is lower than 50%, it will cause damage to Anthurium. Excessive cooling and moisturizing in winter make the leaves too wet at night, which reduces the anthurium's ability to resist the cold and increases the possibility of frost damage.

5. When changing the pot, the soil is relatively compact, which is not conducive to the growth of this plant.

2. Solution:

1. Control the room temperature well. Anthurium's favorite growth temperature is 18℃ to 28℃. The room temperature cannot be higher than 35℃, and the lowest room temperature cannot exceed 14℃. If it is lower than 10℃, Anthurium will suffer from frost damage. Of course, if the temperature exceeds 32°C in summer, then cooling measures need to be taken, such as increasing ventilation in the indoor environment. Give it more water, provide it with shade, etc. If in winter, when the indoor temperature is lower than 14℃, you should increase the temperature appropriately.

2. Maintain relatively high humidity. This plant likes humid air, and high humidity in the air is more conducive to its growth. High temperature and high humidity are the best growing climates. But when the temperature is below 20℃, you can just maintain the indoor temperature; when the temperature is above 28℃, you can use spray to spray the leaves to increase the humidity of the leaf surface and indoor air.

3. Control the lighting conditions. This plant likes shade, so it can be placed in a brighter place with some scattered light in the house. Be careful not to place the anthurium directly in a place where it is exposed to strong direct sunlight.

4. Water and fertilizer should be appropriate. Anthurium is sensitive to salt content, so it is best if the water does not contain salt. Generally, tap water is fine. Fertilizers can be dissolved in water and applied together.

5. When repotting, the soil must be loose.
