When to sow fuchsia and how to germinate it

When to sow fuchsia and how to germinate it

1. When to sow

Fuchsia is afraid of high temperature environment, so it is best to avoid the hot summer when sowing. Don't do this if the temperature is too low in winter. It is difficult for seedlings to grow in low temperatures and it is inconvenient to manage them. It is recommended to do it in spring or autumn when the climate is cool. The temperature that is conducive to its growth is between 10-25 degrees. In such an environment, the seeds can germinate better and the seedlings can grow more vigorously.

2. How to germinate

1. Soaking to germinate: The most common method of germination is soaking. Soak the selected seeds in clean water. The water temperature should be maintained between 20 and 28 degrees. Change the water frequently, once a day, and the seeds will germinate in a week.

2. Germination with paper towel: You can wrap the seeds with paper towel, then sprinkle water on the paper surface to make the paper surface wet. Finally, cover it with a layer of paper towel to keep it moist and move it to a dark place. It can also germinate well.

3. High temperature germination: first soak the fuchsia in 50-degree water. Be careful not to soak it for too long, take it out after 15 minutes. Then put it in clean water and change the water every day, so it will sprout soon.

4. Low temperature germination: Mix the seeds evenly with fine sand, then put them in a plastic bag and place them in the refrigerator's fresh-keeping layer. Such a low temperature environment can also promote the seeds to germinate faster.
