How to repot passion fruit? Can I put it on the roof to dry after repotting?

1. Repotting method

1. Preparation: The flowerpot used for growing passion fruit should be large. The new flowerpot should be at least one circle larger than the old one. The diameter of the flowerpot can be around 40-60cm, so as to meet its growth needs.

2. Transplanting: Be careful when transplanting, and try not to damage the root system. Once the roots are damaged, it will seriously affect its recovery and growth. After loosening the soil, you can tilt the flowerpot and slowly take it out.

3. Repotting: When repotting, it is best to keep the original soil. After removing the plant from the pot, just trim off the longer roots slightly, place it in a new pot with the original soil, and fill the gaps with soil.

4. Seedling acclimatization: After repotting, it usually takes some time for the seedlings to acclimatize. During this period, do not expose them to light too early and keep them in a shaded place. It will lack water right after the pot is changed, so you can trim some branches at this time, and it will recover quickly after it has recovered.

2. Can it be exposed to the sun?

It is not recommended to place the fruit on the roof after repotting, because the light on the roof is generally good, and passion fruit cannot be exposed to light after repotting, so it is better to place it in a shaded place.
