The correct process of water-growing garlic sprouts

1. Prepare the container

Before planting, prepare the container for water planting. You should use utensils with larger mouths. If you have large cups or bowls with larger mouths at home, you can use them. The prerequisite is that it needs to be cleaned first and there must be no impurities.

2. Choosing Garlic

The garlic used for planting should be large in size and the skin should not be damaged. Garlic with insect pests should not be used. It would be best if it has some sprouts. If the garlic is rotten, do not use it. Peel the garlic cloves individually and remove the skins.

3. Planting

The last step is to plant. Place the peeled garlic in the prepared container and arrange them neatly. The end with the bud is facing upwards and the bottom is facing downwards. Then, add some water to the container, at least enough to cover half of the garlic. If the garlic looks unstable, you can place pebbles next to it to secure it.

4. Planting and maintenance

After planting garlic with water, place it in a location with good light and water it frequently. As long as it is exposed to more sunlight, the leaves of the garlic sprouts will be greener. You should water it once a day, and garlic sprouts will grow in about a week. However, the amount of watering must be controlled, otherwise it will easily rot if there is too much water.
