2. How to reproduce

1. Seed propagation: Be sure to collect the seeds of the red spider lily after it blooms. Since the seeds have no dormancy, they must be sown as soon as possible after picking, otherwise it will affect rooting and germination. Prepare moist sandy loam, place the seeds on it, cover with a layer of potting soil, control the temperature at around 20℃, and they will germinate in 15 days. This method is not recommended for home cultivation, as it takes 4-5 years for seedlings to bloom.

2. Propagation by dividing bulbs: The red spider lily plants that have grown for many years will often grow many small bulbs around the mother bulb, and these small bulbs can be planted separately. It is usually done during the dormant period of the plant. After digging it out of the pot, remove the small ball from the mother ball, being careful not to damage the roots.
