1. Planting time

When planting garlic, the planting time is different because the climate in the north and south is different. Garlic likes to grow in a cool environment. The climate in the south is relatively warm and the temperature is relatively high, so it is more appropriate to choose August to September in autumn. The temperature in the northern region is relatively low, so it is not suitable for sowing in autumn. The more appropriate time is March to April in spring.

2. Choose garlic

Before planting, you need to choose good garlic. You need to choose high-quality garlic, which should be plump overall, without any damage on the surface, and free from diseases and insect pests. Remove the old skin on the outside, remove the stem plate underneath, then soak it in clean water for about 3-5 minutes, then take it out and set it aside to dry.

3. Choose pot and soil

Choose a suitable flower pot. It doesn’t need to be too big at the beginning, and it should have holes at the bottom for drainage. Add soil to the soil before planting. Choose nutritious soil and apply certain organic fertilizer. Water appropriately to keep it moist.

4. Planting

Plant the selected garlic, cover it with a thin layer of soil, and gently press the soil around it. After planting, water it thoroughly in time. During the germination period, water it once a day and pay attention to fertilizing.
