1. Planting time

Garlic likes to grow in a cool climate. For the stems and leaves above the ground, the most suitable growth temperature is around 12-16 degrees Celsius. Due to different climatic environments in different regions, the planting time is also different. For the southern region, the best time to plant is around September to October in autumn, so that the plants will not be frozen to death in winter. For areas closer to the north, if you choose to plant in autumn, you may be frozen in winter, so it is best to choose spring sowing, specifically around February to April. It is not suitable to sow too early or too late. If the sowing time is too early, the ability to survive the winter will be reduced and may be damaged by frost. If the sowing time is too late, the yield will be low and the quality will be poor.

2. Sowing time in different regions

1. Zhejiang: Zhejiang belongs to the southern region and is suitable for autumn sowing, which takes place from late September to early October. After growing, the harvest time is in early June of the following year.

2. Jiangsu: Here, seeds are sown in late September and harvested in late May of the following year.

3. Jinan: Jinan is suitable for planting in mid-February and can be harvested in early June.

4. Shenyang: The climate here is cold, so it can be planted in mid-to-late March and harvested in mid-July.

5. Qinghai: Qinghai is suitable for planting in early to mid-April and harvesting in early to mid-September.
