Planting technology of Fraxinus chinensis

1. Planting time

The time for planting at home should be chosen carefully. It can be from January to May each year or after flowering in autumn, that is, from October to December. Planting in two seasons will have a higher survival rate and will also be more convenient for later maintenance.

2. Planting saplings

1. If you want to make a miniature, you need to plant saplings with a diameter of about 0.5-1 cm. These are relatively thin and have stronger plasticity in the later stage.

2. First use a nutrient pot to control the roots. After the roots are established, make the desired shape. You can use wire or wooden sticks to grow them to a diameter of about 1.5 cm.

3. After it is cultivated, you can prepare the potting soil, then plant it in the pot and carry out the subsequent maintenance.

3. Planting tree stumps

1. Dig up the tree stumps, or you can buy the tree stumps directly, trim the roots appropriately, remove the fibrous roots and rotten roots, and wrap them with film.

2. Choose suitable soil. You can use loose garden soil and mix it with sand to increase air permeability.

3. Plant the tree stump in the soil, then water it to make the soil and roots fit fully together to ensure that the tree stump is planted firmly.

4. After planting, place it in a semi-shaded and semi-sunny place. After it gradually adapts, it can see the sun.
