How to cultivate mosquito plants

How to cultivate mosquito plants

1. Soil

The soil for breeding must be carefully selected. It needs to maintain good air permeability and drainage, and be rich in organic matter. Do not use compacted sticky soil. Also pay attention to the acidity and alkalinity. It grows poorly in alkaline soil, so the pH value should be adjusted to a lower level.

2. Sunlight

It grows faster when the climate is mild. At this time, it needs sufficient sunlight to ensure good growth. It cannot be placed in a dark place for a long time. However, it cannot withstand strong light, so it needs to be shielded from direct sunlight in the summer.

3. Temperature

Its suitable temperature range is between 15-25 degrees Celsius, and it grows better within this temperature range. The temperature is relatively high in summer, so you can spray water to lower the temperature and increase ventilation. The temperature is relatively low in winter, so you must take measures to keep warm.

4. Water

It is a drought-resistant plant, but it needs sufficient water during the growing period. Wait until the soil in the pot is completely dry before watering it. Water it thoroughly at one time. Do not water it too much to cause water accumulation.

5. Fertilization

Also pay attention to the application of fertilizers, apply fertilizers at intervals of 15 to 20 days. Fertilizers can be organic fertilizers or compound fertilizers. Pay attention to the concentration and dilute them before use.
