1. Acidification of soil

The rubber tree prefers an acidic growing environment. If the soil is alkaline, the plant will often turn yellow, which is not conducive to its growth. When potting or changing the soil, leaf mold should be used as the main ingredient. The pH of this soil is lower than 7 and it is acidic in itself, which is very helpful for plant development. Alternatively, it can be acidified by pouring ferrous sulfate solution.

2. Control watering

The rubber tree is very afraid of dryness. Once there is insufficient moisture in the soil or the air humidity is low, the tips of the leaves of the plant will turn yellow due to lack of water. At this time, you need to add water immediately, but don't water too much at one time. You need to water in an appropriate amount to keep the soil moist. Water the plant frequently, but do not allow water to accumulate in the soil. It is better to use river water or rain water.

3. Reduce light

The rubber tree is a very light-loving plant, but it is not resistant to the sun, so don't expose it to the sun all the time, otherwise the leaves will be sunburned and the leaf tips will easily turn yellow. In summer at noon, it needs to be shaded appropriately to prevent the plant from being sunburned. You can get some sunlight in the morning, but not for too long.

4. Proper pruning

If the rubber tree grows too lush and has too many leaves, it will often affect ventilation and light transmission, which is not conducive to the plant's breathing, so it needs to be properly pruned. Thin out the dense leaves and place it in a semi-shaded place to wait for the wounds to dry. Then fertilize it appropriately to help it grow.
