How to grow palm in water after growing it in soil

1. Remove the pot and prune the roots

If you want to grow anthuriums grown in soil in water, you must first take it out of its own pot and treat the roots. Do not water the plant 2-3 days before removing it from the pot. This will keep the soil in the pot dry, which is conducive to its survival. Prepare a small shovel, then loosen the soil in the pot along the side, hold the bottom of the pot with one hand, hold the plant with the other hand, slowly tilt the pot to the side, and then slowly take out the plant. After taking out the plant, clean the roots in slowly flowing water, remove the old soil on top, and then cut off the dead, old, and rotten roots.

2. Preparation

Before growing the plants in water, you need to prepare suitable containers. Transparent containers are more suitable. Disinfect and clean them and place them aside for later use. The water quality cannot be used directly from the water supply, it needs to be left to stand for a period of time beforehand.

3. Carry out hydroponics

After preparing the container and water quality, pour water into the container, then insert the plant into it, making sure the roots can reach the water. The water level does not need to be too high. After watering, cut off the yellow and dead leaves on the plant to help its subsequent growth.

4. Post-maintenance

After growing the calla lily in water, place it in a place with scattered light. After it takes root, change the water regularly and add nutrient solution.
