How to prevent root rot of bilberry

How to prevent root rot of bilberry

1. Drainage of potting soil

To avoid root rot in the hibiscus, the flower pots and soil used for cultivation must have good air permeability and drainage. If the original potting soil does not have good drainage ability, you should replace it with new potting soil to prevent root rot.

2. Water in small amounts

When replenishing water, you cannot overwater it. Most succulents have good drought resistance. If you water them too much, the roots will easily rot. Just water the soil thoroughly each time, and remember that there should be no water accumulation in the pot. If there is too much water, some of it needs to be drained out.

3. Pay attention to rain protection

When growing outdoors, you should pay attention to the weather in advance to avoid the plants being exposed to heavy rain. Especially during the rainy season, you must pay attention to sheltering from the rain. Moreover, after the rain, you need to check whether there is any accumulated rainwater in the basin. If there is, you need to drain it as soon as possible.

4. Reasonable fertilization

When fertilizing the Bileigu, you cannot use high-concentration fertilizers. Only by applying a small amount of thin fertilizer each time can it grow better. At the same time, the amount of fertilizer should not be too much. The heat generated by the fertilizer will affect its roots, so apply less fertilizer.
