Sunshade

The moonflower likes sunlight. When the light is strong, its color is beautiful, but its growth will be affected if the temperature exceeds 35℃. In the sunroom, once the temperature is higher than 35 degrees, you must use a sunshade net to block the sun, otherwise you may get sunburned. Then slowly cut off the water, give little or no water during the entire summer dormancy period, and when the temperature drops in mid-September, start watering again.

Water supply

In winter, if the temperature can be kept above 0 degrees, you can give water. If it is below 0 degrees, you must cut off the water, otherwise the roots will easily be frozen and rotten. Although winter is cold, it does not mean that we should not give any water for the whole winter. When the weather is warmer, water the roots of the plant slightly. Do not spray or water too much. If water stays in the center of the leaves for too long, it will easily cause rot.

When the weather is good, as long as there is enough ventilation, you can use clean water spray to clean the dust on the leaves. Because the leaf disk of the plant is smooth and has fine powder, it is not easy to accumulate water, so it will not affect the appearance. This will make the plant more beautiful after washing and will also accelerate its growth.

After the temperature rises in spring, you can slowly resume normal watering.

Repotting

The Moonflower is a small plant and needs to be repotted every 2 to 4 years depending on its growth. The pot diameter can be 1 to 2 inches larger than the plant diameter, which can promote plant growth.

Beheading

The previous walks were all to lay the foundation for cutting the heads. Only when Ji Longyue grows strong can it reproduce more Xiao Longyue. As long as new growth appears, you can cut off the head and use cuttings. Repeat the cycle continuously and the pot will soon be full of life.
