1. Maintenance methods

4. Fertilization: During its maintenance, fertilizers need to be applied regularly. Generally speaking, it is once a week to ten days. In addition, organic fertilizer before planting is also important. No fertilizer is needed in winter.

1. Reproduction: Because the lantern flower basically has no seeds, the main method used is cuttings. It is more suitable to do this in January, February or October. Select suitable branches and cut them into small sections of five to eight centimeters long for cuttings. The temperature after cuttings should be between fifteen and twenty degrees. It will take about twenty days for the seeds to take root.

2. Pruning: Pruning is also important in its maintenance. In order to make it bloom more, you can prune it slightly before flowering. After flowering, the main repair is its flowers. When you encounter some dry leaves, don't let them remain on the branches.

3. Problem diagnosis and treatment

1. Diseases: Root rot is a relatively common disease, which is usually caused by excessive watering and requires water control and the use of pesticides. There is also "powdery mildew", which will show symptoms on leaves, buds and flowers, and can be prevented and treated with mancozeb.

2. Pests: There are "whiteflies", "aphids", "red spiders", etc. You can wipe them off with a wet cloth or spray them with pesticides.

1. Toxicity: It is non-toxic and can be cultivated with confidence.

2. Can it be grown at home?: Its flower shape is quite peculiar, making it suitable as a potted plant for viewing at home.
