Cultivation methods and precautions of Dieffenbachia

Cultivation methods and precautions of Dieffenbachia

1. Soil

Dieffenbachia has a strong adaptability to cultivation soil, and both sandy soil and garden soil can be used for cultivation. As long as the soil is loose, it will be fine and it also needs to have a certain degree of drainage.

2. Watering

When watering the evergreen, you need to wait until the soil is completely dry before watering. It has very strong vitality and there is no problem if you don't water it for a short period of time.

3. Lighting

It prefers semi-shade, and a short period of light is enough for normal cultivation. Especially in summer, don't leave it under the scorching sun for a long time. If the summer sun is too strong, shade is needed and try to move the plant to a ventilated place.

4. Temperature

It prefers a higher temperature growing environment, and the most suitable temperature for its growth is usually 20-28℃. If the breeding environment is too high or too low, its growth will definitely be affected.

5. Notes

If it is hot in summer, it needs to be properly shaded to avoid damage to the leaves due to excessive sunlight. In winter, it needs to be moved indoors because the low temperature will cause frostbite.
