How to grow four-leafed lily

How to grow four-leafed lily

1. Maintenance methods

1. Temperature: It has a strong adaptability, so it does not have too high requirements for the growth temperature. It can withstand severe cold and heat and can adapt to the general growth environment. Moreover, it can withstand temperatures as low as minus fifteen degrees Celsius, so it can survive the winter outdoors normally.

2. Watering: A large amount of water is needed for normal growth, especially during the peak growing season. If there is not enough water, the branches and leaves of the plant will turn yellow or even dry up. Therefore, in addition to watering in summer, you can also replenish the moisture lacking in the plant's branches and leaves by spraying water mist.

3. Light: It is a light-loving plant. Only sufficient and warm sunlight can enable it to grow normally and healthily. Enough sunlight can make the flowers bloom more beautifully. If you want to ensure that its normal growth is not affected, it needs to receive six hours of light every day. It can receive light in spring and autumn, but strong light in summer still needs to be avoided.

4. Fertilization: Fertilization is required before and after flowering. This can ensure normal flowering and replenish the missing nutrients in time after flowering. Of course, some base fertilizer is also needed when planting.

2. Breeding techniques

1. Reproduction: Seeds and cuttings are two important methods. Cuttings are done between March and April each year, and the cuttings will take root in about forty days after cuttings. The seed propagation cycle is relatively long. It takes two years for direct sowing to germinate. Therefore, in order to shorten the cycle, the seeds can be soaked for twenty days in advance, so that they can germinate in about three months.

2. Pruning: During the growth period, some diseased branches need to be cut off in time, which can promote the germination and growth of young branches. Cutting off the dead flowers can reduce the loss of nutrients.

3. Problem diagnosis and treatment

1. Disease: Leaf spot disease often occurs, which will seriously affect the appearance. Wettable powder can be used, and attention should also be paid to ventilation.

2. Pests: Aphids will bite the tender branches of the plant. You can cut off the branches and leaves with aphids, or spray pesticides.

IV. Other issues

1. Toxicity: Non-toxic, very suitable for breeding.

2. Can it be raised at home? Yes, it is also very ornamental.
