The soil is usually changed in spring and autumn, which is its growing season, and the plant can adapt to the pot quickly after the soil is changed.

1. Stop watering and remove the pot: If you are ready to change the soil for the Clivia, stop watering for a few days to allow the soil to dry out. This makes it easier to remove the plant from the pot, and changing the soil will not damage the roots.

2. Preparation of potting soil: The new soil should be rich in nutrients and have good drainage. You can mix it with leaf mold, pine needles and river sand, and add a little base fertilizer.
