How to grow ginseng fruit potted plants

How to grow ginseng fruit potted plants

1. Pot soil selection

The ginseng fruit requires the potting soil to be permeable and drainable, and the entire matrix should be relatively transparent so that water will not accumulate and can be discharged normally. It should also be rich in nutrients and have enough nutrients to ensure growth. You can mix leaf mold, yellow sand and cake fertilizer in a ratio of 6:2:2, and the substrate must be fully uniform.

2. Provide Light

Different seasons have different requirements for light. In spring and autumn, it is necessary to have normal exposure to sunlight. In summer, pay attention to shading and avoid exposure to direct strong light. In winter, the intensity of sunlight is low, so more light is needed, which can not only promote growth but also increase the plant's own temperature.

3. Temperature control

It is a plant that likes warmth and is very suitable for a temperature of 20-30 degrees Celsius. Pay attention to cooling in the summer and provide shade in time to lower the temperature. Pay attention to keeping warm in the winter and keep it indoors to ensure that the night temperature is not lower than 10 degrees Celsius.

4. Apply fertilizer and water

In spring, the plant needs to be watered in time due to vigorous growth. In summer, the weather is hot and watering is needed every day. In winter, watering should not be too frequent and can be done every 7-8 days. In addition to regular root fertilization, apply foliar fertilizer.

5. Pests and diseases

Diseases are easy to occur in the high temperature season in summer. You can ventilate in advance to prevent them. If diseases are found, you need to spray pesticides in time to treat them.
