Aloe vera growth habits

Aloe vera is a light-loving plant and can tolerate partial shade. When growing, it needs to avoid strong light exposure, but it cannot be kept in a cool environment for a long time. The temperature must be kept between 10-30 degrees and cannot be lower than 10 degrees, otherwise it will stop growing. If it is lower than 0 degrees, the plant will die.

Aloe Vera Cultivation Method

1. Soil: Aloe vera is sensitive to water, so when maintaining it, you need to use well-drained soil to avoid water accumulation. When planting, you can mix expanded clay into the soil to increase drainage performance.

2. Light: Aloe vera has a relatively high demand for light, especially during the growth period. It needs more than 4 hours of strong light exposure every day, and no less than 4 hours of diffuse light exposure at normal times.

3. Watering: Aloe vera is relatively drought-resistant, so it does not need frequent watering under normal circumstances. However, when the temperature is relatively high, it still needs to be watered in moderation to keep the soil moist.

Aloe Vera Maintenance Precautions

1. When caring for aloe vera, you need to pay attention to the fact that it is not cold-resistant, so you need to take measures to keep warm in winter. If it is a potted plant, you can move it indoors for maintenance.

2. Aloe vera grows relatively fast and consumes a lot of nutrients, so during normal maintenance, it is necessary to replenish nutrients in time. Fertilization can be done every 10 days.
