1. Water insertion timeRose water plugging does not require much time, it mainly depends on the temperature environment. As long as the temperature can be maintained between 15-20℃ and there is light, water insertion can be carried out. Usually spring and autumn are more likely to meet these two points, so they are often chosen in these two seasons. 2. Cuttings processingChoose a healthy and relatively strong plant and cut a 10 cm long branch. Bevel the base of the branch to give it more surface area to reach the water. At the same time, remove the lower leaves and keep only the upper 2-3 leaves. Avoid the leaves from getting wet and rotting, which will affect its survival. 3. Water pluggingFind a transparent glass container or a plastic bottle. The height of the container should be the same as the branches. Pour clean water into the container, making sure the water covers about one-third of the plant. Don't pour too much water, otherwise it will slow down its rooting. 4. Subsequent maintenanceAfter water-insertion, the roses should be placed in a cool place to avoid sunlight. Change the water every 1-2 days, and do not use tap water directly. You can leave it alone for a few days until the chlorine evaporates before using it. After the rose has taken root, it is not advisable to change the water frequently. If there is insufficient water in the container, you can add water appropriately. |
