1. Prepare the soil

The four-cornered bean has low requirements for the soil, as long as the soil is not poor and compacted. It is best to provide loose, breathable, and pest-free soil. Apply base fertilizer to the soil in advance, deep plowing, tidying up, disinfecting and exposing it to the sun.

2. Sowing

Prepare plump winged bean seeds in advance, tidy up the soil, dig small holes, germinate the seeds, and then sow the seeds. Bury 2-3 seeds in each hole, cover the seeds with a thin layer of soil, and then cover them with a layer of film to increase temperature and humidity.

3. Transplanting and planting

After the winged beans emerge, maintenance and management need to be strengthened. When the seedlings grow 3 true leaves, they can be transplanted in about a month. Transplanting should be done on a sunny day to increase the survival rate. Transplanting should be avoided on rainy days.

Winged beans prefer water and are suitable for growing in a humid environment. During the growth period, they need to be watered in time to maintain the moisture of the soil. However, they are not tolerant to waterlogging and waterlogging is not allowed. In addition, attention should be paid to topdressing and regular weeding should be done.
