How to save a dead kumquat tree

1. Spraying

Reason: When the kumquat tree dries up, it is likely that it has been attacked by diseases and insects. If it is not prevented and controlled in time, the whole tree may die.

Rescue method: First check whether there are small insects on the leaves. If there are, buy some insecticide and spray them. If the disease is caused by infection with bacteria, antibiotics can be used as long as it is treated in time.

2. Drain the accumulated water

Reason: If you water it too much at ordinary times, the plant cannot absorb so much water, and the water is discharged very slowly, its roots will be damaged and the kumquat tree will dry up.

Rescue method: Find a way to drain the excess water immediately. It is recommended to move it to a well-ventilated place for a few days. If necessary, you can change the soil and trim the damaged roots.

3. Heavy soil

Reason: If it grows in soil that is too sticky, its roots will not grow properly, and it will not be able to breathe smoothly or transport nutrients normally, so the plant will become dry.

Rescue method: Turn over the soil in the flowerpot, and there should be certain gaps in the soil so that its roots can breathe normally. If the soil is severely dry, the old soil needs to be replaced with soil that is more breathable.
