Camellia cultivation methods and precautions

Camellia cultivation methods and precautions

1. Breeding methods

1. Pot and soil: The flowerpot used for growing camellia should be suitable, not too small or too large. The flowerpot should be selected according to the size of the plant. The soil should have good air permeability and drainage, and slightly acidic soil is more conducive to its growth.

2. Watering: The soil must be moist at all times. No water can remain in it, which can easily cause root rot. Usually, you can water it more in spring and summer, but when the temperature is low in winter, you should control the amount of watering.

3. Pruning: When the plant grows flower buds, if they are too dense, they should be thinned out as soon as possible, and the weaker branches should be cut off. If it is attacked by pests and diseases, it should be cut off as soon as possible.

4. Temperature: Keep the breeding temperature within a suitable range, and it will grow stronger. It is best to adjust the temperature to around 18-25℃. Too high or too low will hinder its growth. It needs to be moved indoors in winter and sprayed with water more often in summer to keep it cool.

2. Precautions

1. When raising fish outdoors, you need to pay more attention to the weather. When it rains, you need to take shelter from the rain. If you are exposed to the rain, you need to drain the water in time.

2. Use sterilized scissors when pruning, because if there are bacteria on the scissors, it will harm the plant and is not conducive to its recovery.
