How to grow roses with water

How to grow roses with water

1. Prepare the container

You can prepare a transparent glass container first so that you can observe the situation inside, and it will also look beautiful when paired with flower branches. Choose a more slender shape, with a narrower opening at the top and a wider bottom.

2. Suitable water quality

You can put purified water in it, which is relatively clean and not easy to breed bacteria. You can also use tap water, but you cannot use it directly after taking it out. You can put it outside to dry for a while. The chlorine used for disinfection can evaporate, so it will not cause harm to the plants.

3. Pruning branches

Before putting it in water, you need to trim it first. Take a look at the entire plant, cut off the yellow and dry leaves on the top first, and also remove the leaves at the bottom to prevent them from getting wet and rotting. Cut a cross section under the flower branch, 45 to 60 degrees is most suitable, which can increase the water absorption area.

4. Water culture

Before growing it in water, you can soak it in hot water for 2 minutes, then take it out and put it in water. This can effectively block the incision and prevent the juice from seeping out. Then place the plant in a semi-shaded place, pay attention to ventilation conditions, change the water in time, and you can also put vitamin C tablets to prolong the flowering period.
