2. Pruning after flowering: After the beauty plum has finished blooming, proper pruning can make the flowering branches grow better. After flowering, the dry and old branches should be pruned short, and 3-4 buds should be cut off at the base, which will promote the growth of new branches.

2. The first pruning method

The first pruning of the beauty plum is to pinch the top. When the plant grows to about 40cm, cut off the top part. The purpose of doing this is to control the growth height of the plant, allow the axillary buds to grow fuller, and suppress the wild growth of branches.
