How to grow a pear bonsai

1. Temperature

Pear tree bonsai prefers a relatively warm environment, is cold-resistant and heat-resistant, and can be placed in an environment with good air circulation. In winter, the temperature must be maintained above 0 degrees. If there is no freezing, it can survive the winter smoothly. For safer maintenance, you can move it into a warmer, more air-conditioned area in the house.

2. Lighting

It likes places with good sunlight. Be careful not to place it in a dimly lit place for a long time, otherwise it will cause the branches to not be full and strong enough, and it will also cause the flower buds to not be full enough. Therefore, more sunlight can help it grow more luxuriantly.

3. Watering

It has relatively high requirements for water. Too much water or insufficient watering will cause the plant to fail to grow normally. Excessive watering will cause water accumulation, which will prevent the plant's roots from absorbing water normally, and in severe cases may lead to the death of the plant. If you water too little, the plant will wither.

4. Fertilization

It has high requirements for fertilizer and usually requires a lot of flower fertilizer during its growth period. Before potting, you can apply a certain amount of base fertilizer to the soil, and apply liquid fertilizer every half a month or 20 days. In addition, fertilizers containing phosphorus and potassium need to be applied to help its growth. You can also spray some fertilizer on its leaves to help it bloom.

5. Pruning

In order for the plants to grow more luxuriantly and have a better shape, you can trim off the excess branches and dead leaves in time to avoid absorbing too much nutrients. It can also promote the growth of more new and strong branches.
