Why is the “Kalanchoe” never blooming well? You are not using the right method, try these "3 tricks" and the flowers will bloom all over the pot

Why is the “Kalanchoe” never blooming well? You are not using the right method, try these "3 tricks" and the flowers will bloom all over the pot

Method 1: Peel water

If you often eat fruits at home, you can save the orange and grapefruit peels, chop them up and put them in a sealed jar to ferment for a period of time. After the fermentation is successful, you can dilute the plant with clean water and use it as fertilizer for the Kalanchoe. The peel contains a lot of cellulose and vitamins, which is perfect for fermenting into fertilizer water! Just think of it as waste utilization!

Method 2: Cutting

Cuttings are a method of reproduction for many plants. Through cuttings, many friends can turn one pot of plants into two pots, and one branch can grow into a potted plant. Therefore, we can also use cuttings to make the plants grow more luxuriantly. As the number of branches increases, naturally there will be more flower buds. Friendly reminder: choose healthy and complete branches for cuttings, preferably branches that are about one year old!

Method 3: Fertilization

You can't just fertilize Kalanchoe whenever you want. You still need to master certain techniques. Let Huahua tell you slowly. The time period for fertilizing Kalanchoe is generally before and after flowering. Before flowering, we can supplement Kalanchoe with phosphorus fertilizer and potassium fertilizer. This will allow Kalanchoe to fully absorb nutrients and produce more flowers when it blooms. After flowering, you can give the Kalanchoe topdressing, mainly with organic thin fertilizer water, to replenish the energy consumed by flowering in time and shorten the time of the next flowering.

These three tips are some tricks that Huahua has summarized from her daily experience in growing flowers. After being practiced by many flower lovers, it has been proven that these three methods are very effective! If you have Kalanchoe at home and want it to grow more vigorously, why not try these three methods! If you have any other methods to make Kalanchoe produce more flower buds, please share them with everyone!
