1. Carry out land preparation

Before planting purple beans, you need to choose land with good drainage. The soil should also have a certain degree of fertility and good drainage. Apply decomposed farmyard manure to the soil as base fertilizer. After applying the base fertilizer, you need to deep plow the land, level the land and make ridges. The width of the ridge can be 1.2 meters and the depth can be about 6 centimeters.

2. Seed selection and sterilization

Choosing purple bean seeds with fuller grains and no pests and diseases can increase the germination rate. After selecting the seeds, soak them in fungicides for 2-3 hours to kill the pathogens on the seeds. After taking them out, rinse them with clean water and soak them for 24 hours. This can promote the rooting and germination of the seeds. After soaking, take out the seeds and dry them.

3. Planting

Purple beans are often sown in holes, with 3 seeds placed in each hole. The seeds are covered with fine soil after sowing. If the temperature feels low after sowing, you can also use a film to cover it to prevent the seeds from germinating due to low temperature.

After planting purple beans, water them in time to keep the soil moist. Water them in time according to the drought conditions of the soil, but avoid water accumulation. After planting, fertilization should be done according to the growth period of purple beans to ensure sufficient nutrients.
