How to grow Euphorbia milii in spring

How to grow Euphorbia milii in spring

1. Increase watering

Euphorbia milii grows faster in spring, and its demand for water will gradually increase. It needs to be watered once or twice a week in early spring and two to three times a week in late spring. Because the temperature in late spring is relatively high and water evaporates quickly, the amount of watering needs to be increased so as not to affect its growth. When watering, observe its condition first. Watering is only needed after the soil is completely dry. If the soil is wet, there is no need to water it for the time being.

2. Control fertilization

After entering the growing season in spring, top dressing is required once or twice a month. The fertilizer needs to be diluted fertilizer cake water, and try not to use fertilizers with strong fertilizer effects. Because it has just passed its dormant period and its ability to absorb nutrients has not yet fully recovered, fertilizers that are too strong can cause fertilizer damage. By late spring, its growth state has stabilized and it will soon bloom. It needs targeted use of phosphorus and potassium fertilizers, which can promote the flowering of the plant.

3. Ensure stability

It has relatively high requirements for the temperature of the growing environment. The temperature in early spring is unstable, and "cold currents" often occur. It cannot be maintained outdoors temporarily when the climate is unstable. The temperature must be kept above 15 degrees for indoor maintenance. It can be placed in a bright sunny place for maintenance at ordinary times, and sufficient sunlight can also increase the temperature.
