How to grow purple lotus

1. Soil

For breeding, you need to use loose soil containing organic matter. You must also pay attention to disinfection before burying the plants in the soil and expose them to the sun to avoid insect eggs that may affect root growth in the later stage.

2. Watering

It likes a humid environment and needs to be watered frequently during maintenance, but be careful not to overwater it. Control watering in winter, increase the frequency of watering when the temperature is high in summer, and water it almost every day. Normally, watering once every three to five days is enough.

3. Temperature

When maintaining it, it is best to provide a temperature between 20 and 30 degrees, which is most suitable for growth. It has poor cold resistance and the temperature must be controlled in winter and should not be lower than 8 degrees. If the weather is too cold, artificial insulation is required.

4. Lighting

When caring for it, it should be placed in a well-lit place, preferably with half a day of light exposure, but not in full sunlight. However, the light in summer is too strong and the ultraviolet rays are too strong, so you must avoid them in time to avoid sunburn.

5. Fertilization

There is no need to apply fertilizer too frequently during maintenance. When the plant is growing vigorously, it is enough to apply fertilizer twice a month. Organic fertilizer can be used. But be careful to dilute it before application, and make sure to use a low concentration, otherwise it is easy to burn. Stop fertilizing during the hot summer season, otherwise it will affect growth.
