How to grow Jade Plants so that they will bloom

How to grow Jade Plants so that they will bloom

1. Adequate sunlight

It is a sun-loving plant and should be placed in a sunny place when cultivated. It will only bloom if there is enough light time. However, you still need to avoid strong light in the summer and provide appropriate shade, while you can get sun exposure all day in the winter. If there is not enough light, the leaves will be thin, dull and lighter in color, and will not be able to bloom out of the pot.

2. Suitable temperature

Only by providing suitable temperature during cultivation can it bloom out of the pot. It will grow very quickly in an environment between 15 and 25 degrees. Therefore, attention should be paid to timely cooling and insulation treatment in summer and winter, otherwise the dormancy period will be extended, which is not conducive to growth.

3. Water appropriately

Do not water too frequently during maintenance, and make sure no water accumulates. During the growing season in spring and autumn, you need to add more water and keep it slightly moist. Ventilate and water more in summer. Control water in winter and don’t water unless the soil is dry.

4. Reasonable fertilization

Only when the plant grows more vigorously can it burst the pot. During maintenance, it is necessary to apply fertilizer regularly, add more nutrients and promote growth. Fertilizer can be applied once every half a month during the growing season, mainly nitrogen fertilizer and potassium fertilizer, which can make the stems and branches stronger. In addition, attention should be paid to the temperature in winter and summer. Extending the growing period will ensure better growth.
