What causes the leaves of the golden diamond to rot?

What causes the leaves of the golden diamond to rot?

1. Excessive watering

Reason: Diamondwood likes moisture but cannot tolerate waterlogging. If you water it too much, water will accumulate in the potting soil. If this problem is not solved in time, the roots will rot and the leaves will also rot.

Solution: If you water it too much, you need to give it more sunlight to speed up the evaporation of moisture in the potting soil. However, when doing so, you also need to spray water mist on the branches and leaves to prevent sun burns. If the soil in the pot is seriously waterlogged, you need to change the soil.

2. Infection with pests

Reason: If the golden diamond is infected by pests, the branches, leaves and roots will not be able to function normally and the leaves will rot.

Solution: First observe which part is infected with pests. If the potting soil is infected with pests, the potting soil must be disinfected and replaced. If the plant is infected with pests, the plant must be sprayed with pesticides. When spraying, be sure to use it according to the instructions.

3. Excessive fertilizer

Reason: It likes fertilizer, but its roots are sensitive. If there is too much fertilizer, the leaves will rot.

Solution: Make sure to apply fertilizer according to the instructions, or you can mix animal manure into the soil. Animal manure is rich in nutrients, easy to decompose, and less irritating.

4. Insufficient light

Reason: If there is not enough light, the leaves of the plant will rot.

Solution: Golden diamonds need sunlight, and six hours of natural light a day will suffice, but they need shade at noon.
