Tips for Home Flower Cultivation

Tips for Home Flower Cultivation

1. Watering correctly

It is very important to water flowers and plants correctly. Do not water the leaves of the plants when watering, as this will breed harmful bacteria and affect their growth. The leaves may also turn yellow or dry up, affecting their appearance. Water should be applied around the stem of the plant. Do not apply too much water at one time, and do not leave the water for too long, otherwise it will cause harm to the plant.

2. Reasonable fertilization

Fertilization should be done reasonably during maintenance. For example, when the temperature is high in summer, the amount and frequency of fertilizer application should be reduced. Fertilization should also be done with low-concentration fertilizers. Concentrated fertilizers will cause water loss in the leaves and cause fertilizer damage to the plants. In addition, if you apply liquid fertilizer, be careful not to splash onto the leaves.

3. Lighting techniques

Flowers and plants have different requirements for light, some prefer light, and some prefer shade. At this time, the lighting time should be changed according to different varieties. If it is a light-loving plant, place it in a well-lit area and get more sun, but avoid strong light. If it likes shade, keep it in a cool place. However, even if it is in the shade, it should be exposed to light occasionally, which is beneficial to its growth and flowering.

4. Control temperature

Generally speaking, the suitable temperature for home-grown flowers and plants is around 26 degrees. Some of them are resistant to high temperatures, while others are resistant to low temperatures. During maintenance, the high temperature should not be higher than 36 degrees, and the low temperature should not be lower than 0 degrees.
