How to care for succulent plants

How to care for succulent plants

1. Soil Use

Succulents have certain requirements for soil. When growing them, you cannot use too thick soil. You should use breathable, loose soil with good drainage. Peat and granular soil can be used for cultivation, which can make the soil better breathable and is also helpful for the breathing and growth of the plant's roots.

2. Lighting time

If you want succulents to grow healthily, you must pay attention to the light exposure time and let it receive light for at least 3 or 4 hours a day. Some species prefer the sun, so they need to see more sunlight. When growing it indoors, place it on the windowsill to prevent it from seeing sunlight.

3. Watering method

When caring for succulents, you must master the method of watering, and the principle should be to water them when the soil is dry and wet. When the cultivated soil becomes dry, it is necessary to replenish water as soon as possible, and water it thoroughly to avoid watering halfway. During the growing period, you can water more often, but there should be no accumulation of water.

4. Ensure the temperature

The temperature of the breeding environment should not be too low, and should be controlled at around 12-28℃ as much as possible. The temperature within this range is more conducive to its growth. When raising it at home, be careful not to let the temperature be too high or too low. It should not be higher than 35℃ in summer and not higher than 8℃ in winter.
