How to make the stem of the lucky tree thicker

How to make the stem of the lucky tree thicker

1. Timely pruning

If you want its stem to become thicker, you should prune it in time during maintenance. If it is a newly planted plant, when it grows to the desired height, the tips of the main branches should be pruned off. During the growth period, the dead branches, dead branches and messy branches should also be pruned in time. This way the nutrients will be more concentrated and the stems will become stronger after growing for a period of time.

2. Watering and moisturizing

Water frequently during maintenance, especially when the growth is good, and keep the soil in the pot moist to allow for better growth. You need to control water in spring, and spray water two or three times a day in summer so that the stems will grow better if they are moist.

3. Adequate nutrients

If you want it to grow faster and better, you must fertilize it in time. During the growth period, quick-acting fertilizer should be applied once a month to ensure sufficient nutrients in the stem nodes. Usually, an appropriate amount of compound fertilizer and decomposed cake fertilizer should be applied, so that the plant will naturally grow well with sufficient nutrients.

4. Suitable lighting

It likes light, and it is best to give it full-day light during the growing period. Move the plant to a place with good light and expose it to more sun, but be careful to avoid strong light and provide shade in summer. If placed in a dark place, it will easily cause leaf fall, wilting and other phenomena, and the growth will naturally not be good.
