Cultivation methods and precautions of grass jade dew

Cultivation methods and precautions of grass jade dew

1. Soil

When growing grass jade, be sure to use suitable soil with good air permeability. It is recommended to mix perlite, garden soil and cinders. When planting, put some expanded clay at the bottom of the flowerpot and a layer of river sand on the surface of the soil.

2. Lighting

During the period of vigorous growth of the grass jade plant, it is necessary to give it sufficient light for a long time and usually place it in a location with bright light, but it cannot be kept in a place where the light is too weak or too strong. If the light intensity is too weak, the plant will grow very loosely and its appearance will be reduced. On the contrary, too strong light will burn the leaves.

3. Water

Spring and autumn are the growing seasons for the plants, and they need to be watered in time. Water them as soon as the soil becomes dry. Be careful not to water the center of the leaves when watering. In midsummer, you need to reduce the amount of watering appropriately, but you should still spray water appropriately to keep it moist. The breeding temperature is lower in winter, the water demand will decrease, and water control is also required.

IV. Precautions

Many people ignore the nutrient aspect during the breeding period. Appropriate fertilizer is needed during the growth period. If no fertilizer is applied for a long time, the plant will stop growing due to lack of nutrition. Note that fertilizer should be applied once every half a month during the growing season, and you can use decomposed organic fertilizer.
